Home for exchange Amsterdam
Especially for personal holidays but also to have the opportunity to do fotoshoots in the winter on tropical locations or winterclothing in the snow at springtime, we offer our apartement for exchange.
We offer a lovely small apartment in the heart of Amsterdam. The apartment in on the first floor of a typical 19th. century canal house. It overlooks one of the broadest canals of Amsterdam and the view is really beautiful; water, boats, canalhouses and the Montelbaanse toren. One of the oldest towers in town. Our apartment is small but chic. Decorated in white, silver and grey with wooden floors and white leather furniture. The kitchen is simple but efficient. Same for the bathroom with bath and shower. The large bed is a top quality Hastens. There is a small balcony for you to sit on while the canalboats pass you by.
Our apartment is walking or cycling (we will offer you our two real “Dutch” bikes) distance from everything that makes Amsterdam such a great city. The museums, the restaurants, the Operahouse, flowermarket, Muziektheater, the art galleries, the canals, the nightlife, markets, shops, Chinatown. We live in the heart of the town, citylife is really around the corner and still the neighbourhood is villagelike. Enjoy the tolerant attitude of the people in the center of Amsterdam. Take a canalcruise and discouver our apartement from the watersite. If you want to see more of Holland, you can walk within 15 minutes to the railway station and take the train. Or take the subway, it will take you there in 5 minutes. But the best way to see and experience Amsterdam is by bike. Just ride our bikes and you will be an Amsterdammer…
Robert and I are in our fourties. Robert is a photographer, with work around the world (and around the clock!). Our studio is just in front of our Amsterdam apartment. We also have a house in the country so we can exchange apartments non simultaneously. I am a schoolteacher and also a trainer in Body and Mindfitness. I give meditation classes and physical health classes. We both traveled around the world, lived and worked in different countries. I speak english, french and some german. We love to discover new places and also to return to old ones that stole our heart. Like Thailand, South East Asia, Australia,New Caledonie, France,Italy, Paris, London,New York, Hong Kong and Venice. We also love to vitsit the great artmuseums over the world. We have no pets anymore because we travel too much but I really love cats and love to take care of them.
